Steve has been a part of Las Vegas for more than 28 years. He has watched the city grow from less than 500,000 people to over 1.2 million. He has a Bachelors degree in Business Management and Information Systems Technology. With more than 20 years experience, Steve has grown to love the technology and the use of it in the Title Industry.
Steve began his title career in 1990 at the young age of 21, working in a warehouse at Chicago Title Agency of Nevada. From there he worked his way up the Title Insurance ladder working in Customer Service, Title Searching, Title Examination, Title Officer, Foreclosure Officer, High Liability Title Officer and Local Underwriting. Having worked in all aspects of Title Insurance has given Steve a strong knowledge of work flow and procedures, making production efficiency one of his greatest strengths as a manager. Steve moved over to Land Title of Nevada in 1999 to become their Title Operations Manager. He used his technical knowledge to help transform the title operation into more streamlined and efficient operation, with the ability to double their production and cut their turn around times in half.
Through a series of buyouts and mergers, Land Title eventually became part of Lawyers Title of Nevada, where Steve currently is the Business Center Manager for the North Business Center. Steve has been managing the Escrow and Sales personnel since September of 2007. Being on the more customer oriented side of the industry has opened him up to new and exciting challenges.
Steve’s main management philosophy is to empower his employees. He knows that if he can remove the obstacles that slow down and frustrate his employees, they will be able to give better service to the customers. We are in an industry where Customer Service is the top priority. Employees want a manager that can fix issues quickly and effectively to allow them to focus on the work they really need to do and to impress the customers. To succeed in this industry, you have to go above and beyond the customers expectations. Doing this creates long lasting business relationships that will make the company successful now and in the future. Steve’s leadership strives to do the same, for both his employees and their customers.
